Jersey is facing serious challenges. Rising living costs and global uncertainty, alongside longstanding underinvestment and neglect in critical infrastructure, are placing significant pressure on our community. To meet these challenges, Jersey must move beyond shortterm thinking and adopt practical, longterm strategies. Jersey needs representatives in the States Assembly with experience and a clear understanding of how government works—people who are prepared to take difficult decisions and deliver for the public. We need capable politicians with longterm vision, focused on practical solutions rather than on shortterm or populist fixes. A vote for me is a vote for that approach.
Young people must be able to build their future in Jersey with confidence. That means: Access to genuinely affordable housing Secure and meaningful employment
Delivering this requires investment in skills and training, broader economic opportunities, and a commitment to increasing the supply of affordable homes.
The Health and Social Care needs of our ageing population are increasing rapidly. Care must be effective, efficient and delivered responsibly. Primary Care, Hospital and Social Care services must work together far more effectively. Better integration and joinedup delivery are essential to close gaps, improve outcomes and manage costs.
Strong public services depend on stable and sustainable finances. Jersey must generate sufficient revenue to fund essential services and invest for the future. We should be prepared to explore fair ways of widening the local tax base and work constructively with our finance industry. Capital investment — including our new hospital and core infrastructure — is essential if Jersey is to remain resilient and prepared.
Planning policies developed over decades have protected Jersey’s coastline and countryside through the Green Zone and Protected Coastal Zone. Planning processes should be simpler and more efficient, but their purpose must remain firm. The Island Plan needs amendment in detail, but its longterm framework is sound and should continue to guide sustainable development. Delivering the longoverdue West of Island Planning Framework is essential to manage essential development, prevent overurbanisation and to protect the character of our parish.
Vote for vision, experience and accountability.
